May 25th -- 100 Sun Salutations: 10am and 7pm

Surya Namaskar

100 Sun Salutations

May 25th
10am~12pm / 7pm~9pm

The Sun Salutation or Surya Namaskar
limbers up the whole body in
preparation for the asanas. It is a
graceful sequence of 12 positions
 performed as one continuous exercise.
Each position counteracts the one
before, stretching the body in a
different way and alternately
expanding and contracting the chest
to regulate the breathing. Practiced
daily it will bring great flexibility to
your spine and joints and trim your
 waist.
-Sivanada Yoga-

Especially this is very helpful to regain
flexibility and health for people with
stiff bodies or who have physical
diseases. Also, you can meditate as you
control your breath and posture
 simultaneously.
